History
Your Community Credit Union, originally known as the Nineteen Hundred Employees Federal Credit Union, opened its doors in 1949 to provide financial services to the employees of Whirlpool Corporation. After more than fifty years, the Credit Union has grown to serve over 45,000 members located worldwide and manages in excess of $439 million in assets. Today, Your Community Credit Union provides a vast array of financial products and services, from traditional deposit and loan products to alternative investments and financial planning services.
 
In addition to serving Whirlpool and affiliated companies, membership is available to over 200 Select Employer Groups and to any individual who either lives, works, worships, volunteers or attends school in designated "investment" areas within proximity to our branch offices in Southwest Michigan, Marion, Ohio, and Fort Smith, Arkansas.
